I made the decision to take my m4/3 system to my first “big” holiday in a while (ie. more than 14 days). I kept everything inside my Crumpler 7MDH, which included the following gear:

Olympus 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3

Olympus 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ

Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8

I was very glad to say that the during many of the phototaking opportunities during the trip were not wasted due to the gear. Most of the misses were due to my lack of skill or my  circumstances (blocked by a throng of people, for example).

Something I wanted to highlight was that the kit lenses that I brought served me very well. One of the highlights of my trip was the Hobbiton visit, which was mostly shot using the 12-50mm on the OMD EM10. Photos below:
